Math, Madness or just a call to act with humanity and responsibility? 

An average size rabbit litter is 6 baby Bunnies (we call 'em kits)  in 3 months those kits can have litters of their own - and so on...... 

That means one dumped female rabbit can be the start of a colony of 3,500 rabbits in one years time, assuming that half the kits are males and don't have babies. (If you don't beleive me here is a link to a spread sheet showing the math)

What We Do

Education is the idea!  We believe that Rabbits are smart critters and should actually be easier to care for and smarter than your average cat if you work with the rabbit's natural instincts and not against  them.

 A properly understood house rabbit is easier to care for, totally entertaining and a loving part of your family. 

 They are clean, trainable, use litter boxes, get along with cats and some dogs and can even communicate with you! 

Misunderstood....

many of us have had bad experiances trying to get along with a rabbit and given up!

Turns out.....   we have been treating our pets like poultry! when you  work with a rabbit and understand that rabbits re different than our other pets like dogs and cats. Dogs and cats are predators in nature. 

Bunny doesn't really want to be unhappy and bitey!  he just wants to be treated like a rabbit and not like your dinner or your dog.

 This is actually simple when you understand a few simple things and the rewards are HUGE.
